Need to Block MSN, Hotmail Or Live Servers?

The other day I got a request to block all services from MSN, Hotmail or Live Servers. So after some looking up and scrounging for Name Servers here is the list I came up with.

It blocks all in and out bound traffic to the MSN, Hotmail or Live servers.

#MSN, hotmail, or Live Servers block
127.0.0.1 mail.live.com
127.0.0.1 ns1.msft.net
127.0.0.1 ns2.msft.net
127.0.0.1 ns3.msft.net
127.0.0.1 ns4.msft.net
127.0.0.1 ns5.msft.net
127.0.0.1 mail.hotmail.com
127.0.0.1 mail.msn.com
127.0.0.1 hotmail.com
127.0.0.1 mx.hotmail.com
127.0.0.1 mx1.hotmail.com
127.0.0.1 mx2.hotmail.com
127.0.0.1 mx3.hotmail.com
127.0.0.1 mx4.hotmail.com
127.0.0.1 mx.live.com
127.0.0.1 mx1.live.com
127.0.0.1 mx2.live.com
127.0.0.1 mx3.live.com
127.0.0.1 login.live.com

Of Course you can add this to a local host file or your favorite Router/Firewall host file.

Enjoy!
